SureSmile® Ortho
SureSmile Ortho (formerly Elemetrix) is based on proven SureSmile digital technology and revolutionizes the way your orthodontist handles your orthodontic treatment, beginning with enhanced diagnostics and digital modeling for both aligners design and indirect bonding. SureSmile Ortho’s digital technology allows us to develop your orthodontic plan utilizing CAD (computer-aided drawing) on a case-by-case basis to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Aligner Design
Clear aligners, such as SureSmile, are a good alternative to conventional braces. To straighten teeth, the SureSmile aligner procedure uses a series of transparent, removable trays. They’re a terrific option if you want a straighter smile but don’t want to wear metal braces, to complete treatment if you currently have conventional braces, or to make repairs to your smile after you’ve previously undergone treatment.
SureSmile aligners can be used for:
- Simple relapse or moderate crowding
- Complicated adult cases in which aligners are used following a few months of fixed appliances
- Combination treatment of clear aligners and fixed appliances
- Finishing treatment with a series of aligners followed by a retainer
Indirect Bonding (IDB)
SureSmile Ortho IDB is a fast and comfortable bracket placement system that enables your orthodontist to complete your braces in a short period while maintaining precise accuracy. SureSmile Ortho IDB begins with a digital design developed automatically from a scan of your mouth. These scans are used to manufacture trays in a 3D printer: these trays attach the brackets used to straighten your teeth.
